Apple Pie Jam

After yielding hundreds upon hundreds of apples in 2021, my dad’s three apple trees did not produce this year. So I used Cortland apples from the Swarey Family Orchard in the Amish community of Belleville, PA. The recipe is not one of Mom’s; I found it on Pinterest. Jimmy peeled the apples and I made the jam.

I’ve become a fan of apple pie jam. It tastes like you lifted up the top crust of a pie, scooped out all the good stuff inside and slathered it on a warm English muffin. See what you think.

We made a Dutch apple pie version of this jam as well.
