

Bread & Butter Pickles
Our pickling cucumbers produced like little champs again this year. I made a double batch of bread and butter pickles with the first ones because they are very popular with our family and friends.

Many people have told me they don't like bread and butter pickles. But this recipe changes their minds. I got it decades ago from a former coworker named Sheila. She had refined the recipe to make it absolutely perfect. All these years later, I'm following her guidance and changing people's minds about this type of pickle.

Ingredients: cucumbers, sweet peppers, onions, garlic, white vinegar, apple cider vinegar, sugar, canning salt, turmeric, mustard seed, celery seed
