Dill Spears
I used the Ball Blue Book recipe for this first attempt at simple dill pickles, and I really like them. They're not heavy with garlic. The emphasis is more on the fresh dill. We had an abundance of dill this year, so it was the perfect year to play around with this recipe.

Enjoy these pickles in turkey wraps, on sandwiches or burgers after work.

Ingredients: cucumbers sugar, pickling and preserving salt, apple cider vinegar, water, pickling spice, fresh dill from our garden
