Peach Jam
Dad used to grow white peaches, and Mom made jam from them that was unforgettable. Those trees are long since gone, so I did the next best thing and ordered a half bushel of peaches from Valley View Fruit Farm—an Amish family farm in Sinking Valley.
I had ordered the peaches two weeks prior. When I went to pick them up, I had to wait because they were still out picking the peaches. It doesn’t get any fresher. I came home and Jimmy and I made this jam, using Mom’s recipe
We made both regular and gently spiced batches this year.
